How a Kids’ Sip-and-Paint Party Works

Sip-and-paint has grown up… and then grown back down for kids. It’s a guided, creative party where every child paints their own canvas to keep. First, the important part:

“Sip” means juice, not alcohol

For kids’ parties, “sip” refers to age-appropriate, non-alcoholic drinks like juice, lemonade, or water. It’s a wholesome, creative experience for children.

How the session flows

  • Each guest gets a canvas, paints, and an apron
  • A host guides everyone through a simple picture
  • Kids paint at their own pace with help as needed
  • Canvases dry while everyone enjoys treats
  • Each child takes their artwork home

What to wear (and expect)

Dress for a little mess — cover-ups help, but paint happens. Materials are chosen to be kid-appropriate; share any allergies or sensitivities with your host beforehand. Verify with owner
